Marvin Hollub founded a legacy of home building, although he may
not have known he was doing that when he built his first home in
Pinecrest in 1954. It was a three-bedroom, two-bath on an
acre and sold for $19,000. "It is unbelievable that we're actually
knocking down the homes my father built in Pinecrest 40 years ago to
build new ones," said Harry Hollub, President of Hollub Construction
Group, Co. "We may be building newer style homes, but our quality of
construction remains the same. Over the years my father has taught
us the skills necessary to help people realize their dream home."
These skills transcend
the actual building process. Client satisfaction is the primary
concern, Harry Hollub said. Buying a new home is stressful. The
family understands this and makes the entire process as simple as
possible. Harry and Helene sit down with potential clients to learn
about each family's style, their concerns, special needs, likes,
dislikes and budget. This process includes revising architectural
plans, choosing tiles, paint color, appliances and landscape
designs. Regardless of selections within a particular budget,
quality is never compromised. The end result is a happy customer, he
said" We only sign a contract after the clients are completely
satisfied with their selections, floor plan and the price of the
home. We do not pressure homeowners into a contract first and make
these decisions later, which would create a stressful situation,"
said Helene Hollub, Vice President of the Group and the visionary
behind the interior design and finish work in the homes. The firm
also bids on renovation and remodeling work for existing homes.
"Aside from our quality of construction, our fine attention to
detail, and carefully thought-out designs help us win our awards,"
said Helene Hollub.
"We are also very lucky to have the experience of our father Marvin,
and Robert Tenen, our construction manager, who has 25 years of
experience in the real estate market. Between all of us, we have
over 150 years of experience." |
